Appeal - Criminal Damage.

Good afternoon,

On Sunday 26th July 2026, between 19:00hrs and 00:00hrs a picnic bench has been set on fire at the playpark on Carroll Close, this resulted in North Yorkshire Fire being called, we believe the incident may have occurred around 23:00hrs.

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe?

Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date?

Do you have any CCTV/Ring Door Bell coverage capturing the incident, or anything happening on the street before or after?

Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?
